He later strengthened his knowledge through professional certifications in construction codes including IBC, UBC, and IRC from Portland Community College, and completed organizational leadership coursework with Vistage to enhance his ability to lead teams and mentor future industry professionals.

Mr. Mallett is also an accomplished author.
